The electric train system at Atal Sarovar, Rajkot had been completely non-operational since Diwali last year, remaining unused for over 8 months due to a critical system fault.
The train was based on a Chinese-origin high-voltage (~540V) LFP battery and charger
system, and one of the major challenges was the absence of OEM support and spare
availability in India.
Multiple service providers attempted to resolve the issue, but no reliable solution was achieved.

Lifetronics Intervention
The project was assigned to Lifetronics for complete diagnosis and system recovery. Our team executed a structured engineering approach, starting with comprehensive system inspection and precise fault tracing. This was followed by controlled high-voltage battery evaluation to assess real-time performance and identify underlying issues.
We diagnosed critical charger failure along with system integration gaps and engineered a custom LFP-compatible battery charger to restore reliable charging functionality. In parallel, system-level electrical corrections and stabilization were implemented to ensure proper load handling and operational safety. The entire system was then validated through on-site testing under actual working conditions, ensuring stable and dependable performance.
