A Power Protective Device (PPD) is an electrical safety device designed to protect sensitive equipment from voltage fluctuations, surges, spikes, overloads, and short circuits. These devices are widely used in industries, commercial setups, and healthcare facilities to ensure stable and safe power supply to critical electronics.
The Power Protective Device (PPD) is an over-voltage and under-voltage cutoff device designed to safeguard sensitive equipment against harmful voltage fluctuations. Installed at the input terminals of UPS systems, medical devices, refrigeration units, AC drives, and industrial equipment, the PPD ensures safe, reliable, and automatic protection from dangerous power conditions.
Unlike conventional devices, the Lifetronics PPD can withstand voltages as high as 500V in single phase, where most equipment would fail. When voltage returns to safe levels, the PPD automatically switches ON to restore power without manual intervention.
