Lifetronics successfully executed the upgrade and restoration of a 110V Battery Charger
System at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Asoj Branch.
The existing system had developed a major failure in its main control card, making the charger
non-functional. The OEM solution involved a high-cost replacement proposal, including
returning the existing unit against a new system. However, due to strict cost controls and
evaluation standards at IOCL, this option was not commercially viable.
As an existing vendor, Lifetronics was approached to evaluate and provide a practical solution.
After detailed technical inspection, it was confirmed that the main controlling IC card was completely faulty, and OEM-level support or replacement for the same was not available. Instead of forcing a full system replacement, Lifetronics proposed a complete upgrade
solution.
We retained the existing transformer and core power structure, and redesigned the system using new Lifetronics-developed control cards, upgraded electronics, and complete internal system reconfiguration. The charger was effectively rebuilt into a more reliable and serviceable system while maintaining compatibility with the existing infrastructure.
The entire upgrade and restoration work was successfully completed within 3 days, including testing and commissioning.

IOCL Asoj – 110V Battery Charger Successfully Upgraded A failed 110V battery charger system at IOCL Asoj branch, with no OEM support for the faulty control card, was successfully upgraded by Lifetronics. Retaining the existing transformer, we rebuilt the system using Lifetronics-designed control cards and upgraded electronics. The complete job was executed within 3 days, delivered with 1-year warranty, and has been running reliably since 2023.
